TheJetGrade legal
Advertising and Affiliate Disclosure
Effective date: October 14, 2026
TheJetGrade is a business. Here is how it makes money and how that does not touch the grades.
Advertising and sponsorship. Companies pay to place ads on TheJetGrade or to sponsor sections of the site. Every paid placement is labeled "Advertisement" or "Sponsored." Sponsors do not see grades before publication, do not influence scores or rankings, and cannot buy a grade. If a sponsor's product or aircraft is graded, the grade is made the same way as every other.
Affiliate links. Some links to products (for example headsets, avionics, gear and books) are affiliate links. If you click and buy, TheJetGrade may earn a commission from the merchant, at no additional cost to you. Affiliate links are marked "Affiliate link." We only link products we would use in our own airplane. Merchants do not influence what we write. As an Amazon Associate, TheJetGrade earns from qualifying purchases.
Brokerage and referral fees. TheJetGrade earns commissions when it represents a buyer or seller under a written agreement, and referral fees when it refers a request to a partner broker or service provider. When we refer you, we tell you. A referral is not an endorsement of the partner's aircraft or services.
What we don't do. We don't accept payment for grades, rankings, "best of" placements or editorial coverage. We don't sell your uploaded records. We don't run ads that pretend to be editorial.
This disclosure is made in accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255).
