Hawker 750
A lower-cost, shorter-range version of the Hawker 800XP, built alongside the 850XP and 900XP until the Hawker line closed.
A late-build Hawker with a wide cabin, a private toilet and about 2,100 nm of range with four aboard. It costs roughly $2M a year to fly 300 hours, and with few on the market, engine program status and records set the price.
Buy it if
You want a midsize cabin with a private toilet and room for real luggage on trips up to about four hours, and prefer a 2008-or-newer Hawker with a glass cockpit over an older 800XP.
Skip it if
You often fly coast to coast westbound, need more than 2,000 nm, or want lower fuel bills; a Hawker 900XP or a Citation XLS+ will likely suit you better.
Biggest compromise
To make room for the external baggage pod, Hawker removed the 800XP's belly fuel tank, about 233 gallons. You gain heated, easy-to-load storage for skis and golf bags, but give up several hundred nautical miles of range, so Southern California to New York is a marginal nonstop and westbound trips usually need a stop.

What came before and after
What changed from the Hawker 800XP
- Belly fuel tank removed: about 233 gallons less fuel than an 800XP.
- Heated 32 cu ft external baggage pod, rated for 500 lb, replaces the tank.
- Maximum takeoff weight cut by 1,000 lb, to 27,000 lb.
- Collins Pro Line 21 standard, with one flight management system instead of two.
- New interior designed at Hawker Beechcraft's Little Rock completion center.
- No factory winglets, unlike the 850XP; aftermarket winglets were offered later.

- Hawker 850XP instead: Same cabin with the belly fuel tank and factory winglets, so several hundred more miles of range, but older and without the external pod.
- Hawker 900XP instead: The same Hawker with newer TFE731-50R engines and winglets: more range and better climb and hot-and-high performance, at a higher price.
- Citation XLS+ instead: A newer, lighter midsize jet with similar range, lower fuel burn and a deeper resale market, but a smaller cabin and no external pod.

Known issues
Post-maintenance stall test risk
After two fatal Hawker test flights, the NTSB urged new procedures in 2026; small maintenance defects can change stall behavior.
Engine program status drives value
Off-program engines face $550,000–$800,000 overhauls each, a large share of a jet listed around $2.5M.
Aileron rigging and wing vibration
FAA guidance names the 750: worn bushings or low cable tension can cause aileron vibration and, if ignored, wing damage.

Review
The full review
Strengths
- The cabin is 6 ft wide and 5 ft 9 in tall, with an enclosed aft toilet and eight seats.
- About 79 cu ft of baggage, including a heated 32 cu ft external pod that holds up to 500 lb.
- Full tanks still allow about 2,200 lb of payload, so eight passengers with bags rarely cost fuel.
Limitations
- About 2,100 nm with four passengers, several hundred miles short of an 800XP, so coast-to-coast is marginal.
- Burns about 270–290 gallons an hour; we estimate about $2M a year to fly 300 hours.
- Production ended in 2013 and the fleet is small; recent sales have taken about 13 months.
The Hawker 750 is the last new branch of a family that began as the de Havilland DH.125 in 1962. Hawker Beechcraft launched it in October 2006 alongside the Hawker 900XP and delivered the first one in May 2008. Underneath, it is a Hawker 800XP with one big change: the fuel tank in the belly was removed and replaced with a heated external baggage pod. Maximum takeoff weight dropped 1,000 lb to 27,000 lb, the cockpit came standard with Collins Pro Line 21 screens and a single flight management system, and the launch price was about $12.2M, well below the 900XP. Production ended when Hawker Beechcraft closed its jet line in 2013.
Pilot's take
From the flight deck the 750 is a late-model Hawker 800 with Collins Pro Line 21 screens and a single flight management system, so crews who know the 800XP adapt quickly. The main planning difference is fuel. With the belly tank gone, long legs need closer attention to winds and alternates, and westbound transcontinental trips usually include a stop. The upside is weight: you can fill the seats and the pod without giving up fuel. Treat post-maintenance test flights seriously and use shops with deep Hawker experience.
Who this is for
Owners and charter operators who fly four to eight people on trips of up to about four hours, want a real lavatory and generous bag space, and prefer a 2008-or-newer airframe with a glass cockpit.
